The European Iron Club is dedicated to research
into the biological inorganic chemistry of iron: its metabolism, pathology
and clinical relevance to man.
The club's aim is to promote discussion and interaction between biologists,
biochemists, chemists, molecular biologists, nutritionists and clinicians
in all aspects of iron metabolism in biological systems.
The club provides regular newsletters to its members, listings and
information on iron meetings to be held throughout the world and an
annual international meeting organised in a different European country
each year (with bursaries available for attendance).
